Our hand-crafted leather Pommel Bags are made of a
premium, analine-dyed cowhide. This fine leather is dyed all the way
through [drum dyed], so even deep scratches will blend in with a little
saddle oil. It will look great and provide years of service. It has YKK
nylon zippers and leather dee-rings to tie the Pommel Bags to the front
of your saddle. Our leather Pommel Bags are designed to fit any English
saddle and many endurance saddles. They will also fit Ortho-Flex Saddles
such as the Plantation, Endurance Cutback, Express Lite, Stitchdown and
Patriot models.
The sleek shape of our hand-crafted leather Pommel Bags fits neatly
in front of your saddle - tucked out of the way so it won't interfere
with your hands while riding, yet it is very easy to access. One side
can hold a 16-20 oz. bottle of water or soda with room to spare for
trail snacks, and a hand pruner for trimming branches on the trail. The
other side can carry either a light windbreaker or your camera, cell
phone, sun screen or other necessities for your ride.
